-Lifetime Member of The International Legal Honor Society of Phi Delta Phi.
-Former Cameron County Assistant District Attorney from 1989 - 1992,
-Retired after serving from 1999 - 2009 as the first elected Judge of the Cameron County Court at Law No. 3,
-Completed over 445 Continuing Legal Education hours,
-Completed Basis Mediation Training in 2010.
